The Johnson County Highway Department is responsible for maintenance of all non-state roads and bridges in the unincorporated areas of Johnson County. State Roads

Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)

INDOT maintains all State Roads (SR), US Highways (US), and Interstates (I) within Johnson County. Johnson County is located within INDOT's Seymour District.

Cities & Towns

Town of Bargersville

Through an interlocal agreement, Johnson County maintains all of the former county roads within the Town's jurisdiction, such as CR 144, CR 625 W, etc. The Town maintains the roads within the old town area and any new residential neighborhoods inside the town limits.
